I decided to pull out piCture pOlish’s Solar Flare for a little nail art, and here is what I ended up with today:
I am really happy with how these turned out. Although, to be honest, I had no idea where I was going when I started. Here is what I ended up using:
From left to right: piCture pOlish solar flare, Zoya Cynthia, Rica Whiteout, Moyou London Pro XL 10, Essie Protein Base Coat, China Glaze quick dry, and HK Girl.
After the Protein base, I put down one coat of Cynthia:
Once that was dry, I added two coats of Solar Flare:
I love everything about this. It is so freaking pretty. I wasn’t going to do any art on it because I loved it so much, but couldn’t help myself. I stamped using Whiteout, but did not like how stark the contrast was. I forgot to take a picture, but I was much happier once once I layered a thin coat of Solar Flare over the stamping:
Truth? I was only going to stamp one nail. Buuuuttttt, I smudged two others a tiny bit, but it was too obvious to me, so I ended up stamping over them to hide the imperfection instead of repainting the nails. That’s okay though, I still like how they turned out!
Thanks for stopping by!
