My index nails peeled a bit, necessitating a trim. I’ve been putting it off, but finally had to bite the bullet and trim them. Once they were all trimmed down and cleaned up, here is what I came up with for tonight:
BUT, and this is a big BUT, before I did this, I did this:
Yeah, I put googly eyes on my nails for shiggles. I had originally planned to try and do something more interesting with them, but the eyes were too big to fit my plan. This idea would be super cool for monster or cyclops nails. I may redo these in some form for trick-or-treating. To do these, I used:
Yup — that’s it! I put down two coats of Zoya Dovima:
Once that was dry, I dabbed on some Poshe quick dry and put the googly eyes on top. Presto! Googly eye nails! They are super childish, but REALLY fun!
Sadly, they couldn’t stay. Aside from the fact that I would catch the eyes on everything, I still had to trim my nails down. So, off my funsies mani came. Once my nails were trimmed down, I sat down with these:
Mundo de Unas, KBShimmer Jack, Moyou London Halloween plate, Essie Grow Stronger, OPI Glitter Off, HK Girl.
I put down Glitter Off and let it dry completely. Then a coat of Grow Stronger, followed by two coats of Jack:
I had trouble getting a good picture of this polish. I took a billion, but could not get the glitter to show up well. It is a black jelly with various sizes of orange glitter. It is a really fun Halloween polish. I don’t know that I will use it any time other than around Halloween, but it is really perfect for the holiday. Once that was dry, I kept it simple (don’t worry, I’m not ill…just lazy today!):
I used MdU Orange and the Moyou Halloween plate to add some pumpkins. It is a fun, simple mani, and I am quite fond of it!
Thanks for stopping by!
